If your life is not in jeopardy for what you
believe, you’re probably on the wrong side!
“Indeed, all who want
to live a godly life united with the Messiah Yeshua will be persecuted.” (2Tim 3:12)
It is what you actually believe that determines how you walk out your faith,
“but avoid stupid controversies, genealogies,
quarrels and fights about the Torah; because they are worthless and
futile.” (Titus 3:9)

I am only pro-Torah and pro-Truth (see “Philosophy”), but sometimes the Truth upsets our long-held beliefs. I know it certainly upset mine! Messianic Issues
The articles listed on this page are either about Messianic Judaism and the relationship of the “Messianic Movement” to the “traditional Gentile Church,” or they contain information related to issues of Messianic concern.
If you aren’t familiar with Messianic Judaism, you probably don’t know that …
… nobody who knew the Messiah in the flesh ever called Him “Jesus.” [CLICK HERE]
… it is grammatically impossible to say the words “Jesus” or “Jehovah” in either Hebrew or Aramaic, the language of the first-century Messianic believers. [CLICK HERE]
… Yeshua (Jesus) and His Talmidim (Disciples) were all Torah-observant Jews who never became “Christians.”
… Rabbi Sha’ul (the Apostle Paul) never “converted” from Judaism to “Christianity, but even returned to Jerusalem from one of his missionary journeys to offer sacrifices in the Temple. [CLICK HERE]
… until well after the end of the first century, almost all the followers of Messiah were Jewish, and “The Way” (as Messianic Judaism was then called) continued to be predominately Jewish until well into the fourth century CE.
… a Jewish Believer in the Messiah does not become a Christian and stop being a Jew.
… when Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) came at Pentecost, the Jews upon whom He “fell” did not become “Christians.”
… God’s “New Covenant” is for Israel and Judah, and not for “the Church”? [CLICK HERE]
… the Bible never applies the word “Christian” to believing Jews, only to believing Gentiles. Even then it is a only translation of the Hebrew term “Messianic” into Greek, and may even have been used as a derogatory term.
… the “Church” and “Christianity,” as we know it, did not come into existence until the fourth century.
… the word “church” in the so-called “English New Testament” is a false translation of the same word used in the so-called “Old Testament” for the Holy Convocations of Israel. [CLICK HERE]
… in the Messianic Kingdom [usually called “the Kingdom Age” by most Gentile theologians], Jews and Gentiles will worship Yeshua and offer sacrifices together in the Jerusalem Temple. [CLICK HERE]
… there is a form of true Biblical faith today in which Jews and Gentiles can worship side-by-side as one in Yeshua the Messiah.
This form of Biblical Faith is called Messianic Judaism, and it is practiced today essentially as it was practiced by Yeshua and His first Talimidim. Of course, some things will have to wait until Messiah restores the Temple.

- The Commonwealth of Israel: What I am talking about when I refer to “the Commonwealth of Israel”
- Where Did the Word “Church” Come From? I no longer use the word “Church” to refer to believers in Messiah because of the pagan source of the word.
- Where Did the Word “Jehovah” Come From? The Name of the Most High cannot possibly be “Jehovah” because that word is absolutely impossible to say in the Hebrew language.
- The Name That is Above Every Name: Before the beginning of “Christianity” as we know it today, there was a Name, and that name was Yeshua.
- A Typical Messianic Statement of Faith: The “Messianic Movement” or “Messianic Restoration,” by whatever name is being used used, is not a single organization with a central governing body to speak for it. This Statement of Faith is rather typical of congregations and ministries in the movement.
