Rav Ari Caricature Teaching

Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you.” [Genesis. 1:29, NAS]

The LORD gave; the FDA hath taken away; cursed be the name of the FDA! [paraphrase of Job 1:21]

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” ― Hippocrates, the “father” of medicine (c. 460-375 BCE)

“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” — Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

DISCLAIMER: Important Legal Notice

PLEASE NOTE: I am in no way anti-physician! If I ever have a serious illness or trauma, I certainly hope that there will be a well-trained, well-qualified, conscientious, competent, holistically-minded physician available. I do, however, feel that American health care is in desperate need of a total restructuring, that the allopathic medical profession must be held to extremely rigid safety and quality standards (at least to the same standards as those to which every single other industry in America is held), and that physicians, nurses, and pharmacists must be held personally accountable for the damage they actually do. Any other industry that was by its own admission directly responsible for the deaths of over 650 individuals every single day would be immediately closed down by the government!
Allopathic physicians must be made to realize, and to publicly admit, that they do not have all the answers, nor do they have either the corner on “truth” or the right to control access to health information; that ancient methods which have been effective at promoting health for thousands of years, along with their modern practitioners, are valid for today whether they are completely understood and “scientifically verifiable” or not; that chemical and biological poisons do not “cure” diseases; that the arbitrary removal of body parts does not promote either health or quality of life; and that the wholesale slaughter of innocent unborn children for personal profit is an abomination before God.
The general population must made to understand that each individual person is ultimately responsible for his/her own health and quality of life, that this personal responsibility requires that each person educate him/herself as thoroughly as possible in all aspects of nutrition and natural health-care, that allopathic physicians are not to be “deified,” and their suggestions should not be blindly accepted.
We also feel that the American court system must put an immediate stop to irresponsible and unwarranted litigation and to the “deep-pockets award” mentality that permeates our legal system. Financial judgments should always be awarded based on actual damages and losses, not on some arbitrary and misplaced “Robin Hood” sense of responsibility for the redistribution of wealth.

Deadly Doctors!!

As previously reported, the 1990 Harvard Medical Practice study suggests that each year 150,000 people die from the negligence of doctors. Since there are about 300,000 doctors in the United States, that means that approximately one out of every two U.S. doctors negligently kills one patient every year.

Over a 30-year career, this could mean that the average doctor would kill 15 patients. Since there are about 200,000,000 guns in the United States, and about 30,000 people die annually from gun assaults, suicides, and accidents combined, each year an American gun has a one in 6,666 chance of killing someone.

This means that any doctor, any year, is 3,500 times more likely to kill someone than any gun.

Even the raw numbers are astonishing. Doctors kill five times as many people as guns! Think about it; should we be turning in our guns, or our doctors?!? Come to think of it, why is the A.M.A. pushing gun control and not physician control?

In other medical news, a recent article in the Journal of the American Medical Association reports that adverse drug reactions may be the fourth-ranking cause in the United States, right after heart disease, cancer, and stroke. It is estimated that correctly prescribed prescription medications cause between 76,000 and 137,000 deaths a year, plus 2,200,000 serious nonfatal reaction. This death rate is roughly equivalent of a Boeing 747 crashing every single day of the year! Click here.

Statistics Update

According to the brochure for the March 2003 National Managed Health Care Congress, “Medical errors are cited in a leading foundation report as among the leading causes of death in the USA, exceeding deaths from motor vehicle accidents, breast cancer or AIDS.” (Source)

According to Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health [CDC NVSR 2001], medical error is now the third leading cause of death in the United States, accounting for one out of every ten deaths in America! (As of 2001)

Leading Causes of Death in the U.S.A. (2001)
1. Heart disease (30.3%)
2. Cancer (23.0%)
3. Medical Errors (10.1%)
4. All Other Causes (10.1%)
5. Cerebrovascular / Stroke (7.0%)
     6. Respiratory Diseases 5.2%)
 7. Accidents (4.1%)
 8. Diabetes Mellitus (2.9%)
 9. Alzheimer's (1.9%)
10. Kidney Disease (1.5%)
Death Statistics

According to statistics from the
medical community itself,
one out of every ten deaths in the USA

— approx. 241,423* deaths in 2001 —
— up from 150,000 in 1990 —
— 662 deaths a day —

are due to medical error.

[*In 2009 Gary Null, PhD estimated that 786,000 Americans
die annually from iatrogenic or medically-caused deaths, so
adjust the remaining statistics in this article by that amount.]

The government simply would not tolerate this incredibly unsatisfactory safety record from any other industry, and no intelligent person would ever blindly trust any other person with this kind of record of disastrous errors!!!!

The Boeing 767-200 with standard two-class configuration carries 224 passengers. If three Boeing 767-200 aircraft were to crash every single day [Gary Null's 2009 estimate would increase this to nine aircraft crashes every day], killing 672 people [2154 people a day by Gary Null’s 2009 estimate], that death rate would be approximately the same as the death rate of medical error! How long do you suppose the government, or the American public, would tolerate the loss of nine fully-loaded Boeing 767s every day of the week, 365 days a year???

On September 11, 2001, a total of 2,998 innocent people (including 19 terrorists) died at the hands of Islamic terrorists] and most of America was immediately willing to risk starting World War Three to avenge their deaths. Where is the public outrage at a medical profession that kills 71% of that number of people [2154] every single day??
